Chopsticks and More

We are learning about different cultures in Social Studies. Today we tried eating with chopsticks, the way people do in China and in other Asian countries.

In reading, I heard my favorite quote of the day: "I LOVE books!"

We have been working on "scooping up words" in phrases rather than reading one word at a time. Real spoons have been helping us remember to do this.

Finally, we had a bittersweet moment today as we said goodbye to a friend who is moving. We wish him the best at his new school!
